Service

I embrace the philosophy that service to my profession, my home institution, and the community is inherent in the ethical code of an educator. I have a strong record of service to the Childhood and Early Childhood Education Department, the School of Education, and the College. I have also offered regular service in the local community. In addition, I have provided professional service at the national and international levels.

One of my career goals is to expand my service in areas where I can develop my leadership skills. In the past six years I have pursued this goal and addressed these areas with demonstrated and continuing service at different levels and in a manner that makes a significant contribution to the comprehensive excellence of the College. The following narrative highlights some of my most significant service accomplishments.
