Her research expertise lies in water quality modelling, hydrology, hydrogeology and hydrogeochemistry. She has spent the past fifteen years working on modelling water quality changes from the impact of climate, land use and other environmental changes. She has applied the INtegrated CAtchment (INCA) models widely across the globe in many countries. She also researches the hydrological and biogeochemical processes that influence water/solute movement and water quality with combined field techniques, modelling and GIS applications. She has published over 40 scientific papers in the refereed journals as well as over 30 abstracts at a wide range of conferences.

Employment History

2019-current Professor, State University of New York at Cortland
2015-2019 Associate Professor, State University of New York at Cortland
2011- 2015 Assistant Professor, State University of New York at Cortland
2009-2010 Visiting research associate, University of Oxford
2008-2009 Postdoctoral research associate, Syracuse University
2006-2008 Teaching assistant, Syracuse University
2004-2005 Research assistant, Syracuse University

Email: li.jin@cortland.edu Office Phone: 607-753-2188 Mailing Address: Geology Department, Bowers Hall 1004, P.O.
