When you feel powerless and discouraged, when you’ve lost faith, when you want to say just forget it<\/em> and sleepwalk or watch tv for four years, when you’re ready to jump species because humans are JUST TOO MUCH, do the opposite–even if it’s just a simple thing–like making a fetish.<\/p>\n

You can use a fetish to protect and motivate yourself at this time of human trial. Use it\u00a0 to consolidate power. Use it to push back.<\/p>\n

Easy Recipe for a simple fetish: Write a power word on a piece of paper, like connection<\/em> or justice<\/em> or protection<\/em>. Fold the paper and bind it with thread. Voila! *<\/p>\n

Treat your fetish right. Carry it in your pocket where you can feel it. Or glue it to your desk or dashboard or dangle from a nail in your house. Pay attention to it. Power doesn’t like neglect.<\/p>\n

You can change things with a fetish, pull someone to you, bind someone, find the words, conceal fear, clear your way. And you can heal with a fetish– yourself or someone else. You can confer power. You can charm your way forward, as if you hold a light that illuminates the future. The spirit of the object whispers to you. You know things. You see things. You can even conjure a dreamboat to send someone across the River Styx. Vampire grandma, Diane DeKay, is going to make that one.<\/p>\n

Get busy now. It\u2019s important! Create your fetish today and then\u2014fetish in hand\u2014make a phone call, write a letter, join a group, make common cause to push back against Donald Trump and his Republican government.<\/p>\n
