She lives alternatively in Ithaca, NY, Truth or Consequences, NM, Asheville, NC, and Speedsville, NY. Sometimes she shares her space with her adorable husband. Sometimes she is solitary.<\/p>\n<p>Boynton is Professor of English at the State University of New York at Cortland. Her chapbook of poems, <em>Contraptions<\/em> (2009) was published by Stockport Flat Press. Boynton\u2019s fiction and poetry appear in <em>Calyx,<\/em> <em>Verse, Harpur Palate<\/em>, <em>Heliotrope,<\/em><em> Comstock Review, Rhino,<\/em> and <em>Faultline<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>She has scholarly articles on Margaret Atwood and Leslie Silko in <em>Short Story Criticism<\/em> (2010) and <em>Contemporary Literary Criticism<\/em> (2009). She is author and editor of the <em>Encyclopedia of Women\u2019s Autobiography <\/em>(2005) with Jo Malin and <em>Herspace: Women, Writing, and Solitude<\/em> (2003) also with Malin.
